Our Commitment

Beleaf NY LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and physical locations.

Web Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. Our ongoing accessibility efforts include:

  • Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
  • Descriptive alt text on all non-decorative images
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the website
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
  • ARIA labels and landmarks for assistive technology
  • Focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Text resizing support without loss of content or functionality

Physical Location Accessibility

All three Beleaf dispensary locations are designed to be accessible:

  • Wheelchair accessible entrances and retail areas
  • ADA-compliant parking spaces at Calverton and Medford locations
  • Clear signage and wayfinding
  • Staff trained to assist customers with accessibility needs
  • Delivery service available for customers who cannot visit physical locations

Delivery as an Accessibility Option

Our delivery service extends cannabis access to customers with mobility challenges, transportation limitations, or other circumstances that make in-store visits difficult. Delivery is available from all three Beleaf locations with age verification at the point of delivery.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content or embedded services on our website may not fully conform to accessibility standards. We are actively working with our service providers to address these gaps.

Feedback and Assistance

If you encounter accessibility barriers on our website or at any Beleaf location, please let us know. We welcome feedback and will work to address issues promptly.
